Mackowiak

Thomas Mackowiak was born in 1838 in Germany. His parents were both German.

He married Frances Kenowal sometime around 1863. Frances was born in 1838 in Germany, her parents were both German.

They had six children including:

Thomas and Frances immigrated to the United States in 1881.

The 1910, US Census showed them as being 72 and married for 47 years. At this time, four of their six children were still alive.

They did not speak English, but could read and write in Polish.

In 1910, Thomas and Frances were renting a home and working "on their own accord".
